00I. full name Nathan Wallace
0II. canon or original Repo! The Genetic Opera
III. years of age40
0IV. genderMale
00V. orientation(optional)MARNIIII…straight, possibly a little bicurious.
0VI. occupationFormer Repo Man, current hotel doctor
0I. body type Broad shouldered, just a little husky around the middle. He’s in fairly good shape for a man his age.
0II. physical description Nathan dresses very sensibly, with collared shirts in earth or dark tones, and slacks. His hair is a light chestnut, with a bit of gray, and his skin is fair. He also wears black-rimmed glasses, giving him an overall bookish appearance. He tends to fade into the background, and doesn’t try to stand out. His room is very organized, but secretly he’s a bit of a packrat. Nathan has more than a few junk draws stored with various little bits of his past he likes to keep around for some reason or another. Overall, he’s a neat, reclusive little man without many attention-drawing features…at first glance. In his past career as a Repo Man, he shed his normal clothes for a sleek black suit with a matching helmet that covered his entire face, perfect to shield himself from both detection and blood splatters.
III. height6’1”
0IV. weight163lbs
00V. eye colorLight Green
0VI. extra As a result of the night of the Genetic Opera, Nathan has a scar on his left leg from a slash from Luigi’s knife, as well as a scar from a bullet wound on his chest.
00I. overall personality Nathan is, as one could guess by his appearance, a very quiet man. He generally dislikes company, preferring to either be alone or spending time with his daughter. This quiet demeanor is due to more than just natural shyness, however; he is constantly tormented by the loss of his wife, Marni, and when left alone as he usually is, he tends to sink into his thoughts. And this will lead to either him wallowing in grief and guilt, or his “Repo Man” personality taking over, which is very cruel, sadistic, and remorseless. Since the night of the opera and the separation of he and Shilo, this occurs more often, with little control from Nathan.
0II. strengths Calm, intelligent, deft, and an extremely skilled assassin.
III. weaknesses Bottles things up, lets himself get manipulated, and a little bit of BAWW MARNI thrown in.
0IV. goals To redeem himself for being such a horrible father and murderer.
00I. notable family & friends
- Marni – Wife(deceased)
- Shilo – Daughter
- Joseph(Fellow) – Friend(possible love interest)
0II. overall history Nathan Wallace was born in 2016, to a family of doctors. Naturally, as he got older, he himself got into the profession. He always wanted to help people, and with the growing world organ epidemic, the time was now. He became employed as a surGEN working for GeneCo, and quickly became favored by his boss, Rotti Largo. He became Rotti’s closest friend, and a potential candidate to inherit GeneCo when Rotti passed on.
Unfortunately, that all fell apart when Nathan fell in love with Rotti’s fiancé, Marni. Marni left Rotti to be with Nathan, and soon after their marriage became pregnant with their future daughter Shilo. Marni fell ill while pregnant with a strange blood condition, and Nathan worked hard to find a cure for her. Rotti saw this as his chance to get even, and snuck someone into Nathan’s lab to poison Marni’s medicine. When Marni took the medicine, she began coughing violently; losing blood from every orifice, and Nathan hurriedly began to operate. With time running out, he could only save one; either Marni or their baby. He began to do a c-section on Marni, saving Shilo’s life…but taking Marni’s.
When the GeneCops arrived, Rotti offered Nathan a choice: become a Repo Man and harvest organs for GeneCo, or go to prison and lose Shilo. Nathan chose to become a Repo Man, and was left to raise Shilo all alone. Afraid of losing Shilo like he had her mother, Nathan poisoned the healthy Shilo’s medicine, giving her the disease her mother had had purposefully. He kept her in her room constantly, telling her that he was just a surGEN working for GeneCo, and she believed him. After all, he was her father, the only person she’d ever known. One night, however, Shilo snuck away, leaving with Rotti, whose plans of revenge were not yet over. Rotti intended for Shilo to take over his company when he died, which he knew would be soon. To do this, he had to turn Shilo against her father. When Nathan found out about this, he refused to work for Rotti any longer, and went out to seek his own revenge against the one who’d taken his daughter from him. When he accidentally exposed himself to Shilo as a Repo Man, it destroyed all her trust in him, and led to a major showdown between himself and Rotti. Rotti shot him in the chest, to Shilo’s distress, and the two reconciled before Nathan “died.”
However, after blacking out for what seemed like days, Nathan found himself in a hotel room, an opened invitation and an accepted job application at his bedside table. Apparently, he was now the hotel doctor, with no idea how he’d come to be here after the opera.
III. sample postNathan ran his thumb over the sharpened blade of his scalpel, wincing a bit as a drop of red formed at the tip of his digit. The instrument still felt all too comfortable in his hand, though it’s use was far less unethical than it had once been. Rather than brutally removing organs in the quickest way possible, this scalpel was used for far less serious reasons…most of the time. His job as a hotel doctor was tamer than his job as a Repo Man, to say the least, or even as a surGEN.
This both relaxed him and made him tense. Suppose the urge to cut, to remove, was too great to resist? Or perhaps he’d simply become too lethal for his own good? Maybe he was no longer fit to be a proper doctor…
“Um…Doctor Wallace?”
Nathan was snapped out of his contemplations, the patient seated on the examining table grabbing his attention once more. She was a fairly young guest, a teenager; and a nervous one at that. Her eyes were brown, almost quivering at the sight of the obviously sharp blade in his hand. His gaze softened at those eyes, which reminded him so much of Shilo’s…his precious Shilo. This relaxed him further, the anxious feeling disappearing for now. He could trust himself to take care of his daughter, so as long as he could find something to remind him of her, he could trust himself to be gentle…and refrain from assassinating his patients.
