00I. full name Shilo Wallace (can also go by Shi for short)
0II. canon or original Repo! The Genetic Opera
III. years of age 17
0IV. gender Female
00V. orientation(optional) Straight
0VI. occupation Just a guest in the hotel
0I. body type Short and lean
0II. physical description Shilo is a relatively short girl with long black hair, brown eyes, and a relatively thin, lean figure to her. Her skin is noticeably pale, likely from being confined to her room and forbidden to leave for so long, and she has a rather frail look to her. Her choice of clothing is mainly dresses and shoes that match, and presently she's wearing a black dress of medium length which is flowy and has a few sequends scattered across it while her shoes are also black and low-heeled. She generally tries to keep her appearance well kept and clean and holds herself with a sort of pride some of the time. Though uncertainty slips in and makes her seem a bit on the anti-social side some of the time, too.
III. height 5'1"
0IV. weight 120 pounds
00V. eye color Brown
0VI. extra
00I. overall personality For the most part, Shilo is a typical teenager in terms of personality. She likes to believe she has a rebellious side to her, especially since her father kept her locked up for so long and she wanted to break free. On the other hand, though, Shilo appears to be rather fearful of the world beyond the familiarity of her home. She tends to be wary of strangers when first meeting them, but if they can win her over then she's more inclined to trust them. Shilo also seems to have a slightly bitter side to her and seems inclined to hold grudges for a while. Ultimately, though, if she were given the choice between doing something to hurt someone close to her and trying to keep them safe then she would try to protect the close friend.
Since gaining her freedom at the seeming cost of her father's life, Shilo has started to come out of the uncertain, wary nature she held before. Somewhat. She still has a ways to go before being fully willing to trust people right off the bat. She has a love of opera music and dislikes having limitations on where she can go, especially after finally gaining her freedom.
0II. strengths She's smart, resourceful to some degree, and has a kind side to her
III. weaknesses She's wary of people she first meets, is difficult to gain the trust of some of the time, and somewhat naive of how some aspects of the world beyond what she's known are.
0IV. goals Coming out of the self she used to be and becoming more free, I suppose.
00I. notable family & friends
Nathan Wallace (father)
Mari (late mother)
GraveRobber (friend of sorts)
Blind Mag (late godmother)
0II. overall history Shilo lived a sheltered life and lived under the notion that she had a blood disease thanks to her late mother. She was made to stay in her room by her father, Nathan, and believed she shouldn't go outside because of all her father had told her. As she grew older, Shilo grew more rebellious and desired to break free of that life. One day she got her wish when she went to visit her mother's grave and met with a man known as GraveRobber. After passing out as a result of her high blood pressure, Shilo began to desire her freedom more than before. She eventually received contact from a man known as Rotti Largo, who told her to meet him at her mother's grave. When he met her he took her hostage in his limo and explained that he had an interest in curing her disease. Fearful that her father would find out she had been outside, Shilo remained hesitant. After promising her father wouldn't find out, Rotti invited Shilo to see Blind Mag perform at an opera.
Shilo eventually met with Blind Mag, who appeared rather surprised to meet her. They couldn't speak with one another due to Mag being called to the stage. Shilo watched as Mag and Rotti discussed Mag's plans to leave GeneCo, and after seeing Mag cut the ribbon for the new town hall she got shoved into a tent to be kept out of the way. GraveRobber freed her and helped her escape not long after that, and Shilo learned about zydrate and how people were hooked on it not long after. From there Shilo learned about how the Repo men would come to take Mag's eyes and was almost captured, but she and GraveRobber escaped via garbage truck.
Blind Mag came to Shilo's house not long after Shilo got back home and desired to speak with her, revealing that she was Shilo's godmother and her late mother's best friend. Shilo asked her father to help Mag after the opera performer left, but Nathan refused. Later, Rotti invited Shilo to an opera performance to earn her cure for her disease. She arrived at the opera and after fulfilling the first requirement for her 'test', she needed to take out a Repo man that was coming for her. Shilo unfortunately learned that the Repo man was her father, and disowned her connection with him not long after due to believing Nathan had killed Mag.
When Shilo finally made it to the opera stage, the Largo family began to turn her against her father. She was then given a choice; kill Nathan and earn her cure after learning that he was the reason she was sick the whole time or allow him to live. In spite of everything she had learned about her father, though, Shilo ultimately decided to not kill him. She turned the gun she had been given against Rotti. Rotti was able to take the gun from her as the lights went out, though, and shot Nathan before dying on stage due to complications of his own disease.
As Nathan lay dying on stage, Shilo reconciled with him. They forgave each other for everything, and before dying Nathan told her she was free to do what she pleased with her life then. She ultimately left the opera after her father seemed to die and went on to go living her own life.
Some time later, after Shilo started to grow settled in her new life, she received a strange invitation asking her to come to a hotel she had never heard of. In spite of not knowing whether or not it was a good idea to even become involved in whatever was going on, Shilo thought maybe it would be a good idea to go. After all, what was the worst that could happen? So, Shilo packed her bags and headed for the Hotel Cavalier.
III. sample postUncertain though she was about the reasoning behind her being invited to the hotel in the first place, Shilo found herself standing before it with bags in hand and a sort of optimistic aura about her. It was a new day, a new beginning, and Shilo was partly looking forward to it. On the other hand, she didn't know why she had been invited. Who had even been able to find out where she lived prior to arriving there, anyway? Shilo had been so certain that she hadn't left any traces for contacting her... maybe it was just a fluke. All she knew was that she was there. There seemed to be no turning back, even though Shilo could have turned around at any time and left.
What would the point in that be? Just go, Shilo. What's the worst that could happen?
Right. What was the worst that could happen? It wasn't as if she was going to run into anyone that actually knew who she was. The odds of that happening were incredibly slim. With that knowledge giving her that extra bit of a push, Shilo headed inside. It was time to see what direction her life would take then.
