((Hey guys I just thought I'd let you know that I will write fanfictions or anything you would like. Just give me a basic gist of what you would like, aka characters and setting and anything else, and I will write it for you. I have a lot of down time with my classes mostly ending at 10 or 12. Just shoot me a PM))
Tanny stormed into the warehouse, her black tank-top covered in blood and her face slightly pale. Riley followed in after her, both were drenched in rain and breathing slightly hard. He went over to where Tanny was standing, her arms wrapped around herself like she was going to fall apart at the seams. Reaching out he called her name softly, that’s when things changed for the worst.
“I can’t believe you!” Tanny screamed at Riley, spinning around and jabbing an angry finger at him.
“Tanny it was just a kiss,” Riley said distressed at how angry she was.
“Why?! Huh? Answer me why!”
“What do you mean why?” Riley asked grabbing her shoulders.
“Why’d you kiss me!?!” she snapped moving her arms up and slapping his hands off of her.
“Tanny is that what this is about?” Riley asked his eyes taking on an angry glint, “You’re mad because I kissed you?”
“We aren’t like that!” Tanny said, “We’re just friends!”
“You really think we’re just friends?” Riley snapped, he was thankful that the rest of the group was out of the warehouse for this exchange, “Tanny we’ve slept in the same bed almost every night. You almost died again today, I thought I was going to lose you. We’ve got something more than a friendship and if you can’t see that then I’m going to have to show you again.”
Riley grabbed her arms again and pulled her up slightly. Closing his eyes, he kissed her. Holding her there, he couldn’t see her eyes, open and angry, until he felt her hand rising. Then with a loud snap, she slapped him. Her face was unreadable as she wiped her mouth off with the back of her hand.
“wWe’re just friends,” she said, “Stop trying to complicate things. You know why we have to be just friends. You know why, and yet you’re doing this. You’re going to ruin everything Riley. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING THING.”
“Tanny, I-“ Riley started rubbing his face.
“I DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT RILEY!” she yelled, “Just leave me alone!”
With that she ran outside into the rain and vanished. Leaving Riley standing in the living area, with a look of shock on his face.

About a week later, the two teens still weren’t talking to each other. Tanny was sitting on the couch reading, Eros sitting oddly close to the girl. Sudden realization hit Riley as Tanny moved to lean against Eros, her head resting on his shoulder as she turned the page. Walking over he tapped Tanny’s wrist and motioned for her to follow him. The girl stood and followed him to his room.
“What?” she asked crossing her arms.
“I don’t like fighting with you Tanny,” he said reaching out to touch her.
Jerking back, his closest friend glared at him, “I’m pissed at you still Riley. You were totally out of line when you kissed me. You’ve never showed any interest like that. You never dared. You know why we can’t be like that…yet you tried. I’m just...I rather be with someone who tells me that theylike me and doesn’t expect me to like them back yet.”
“I’m not afraid to tell you! I was afraid you’d act like this!” Riley snapped, “Now you’re flirting with Eros just to piss me off! You know I hate him!”
“I’m not flirting with him!” Tanny yelled glaring at him.
“What is it then?!” he yelled back.
“I’m dating him!” she shouted with her hands on her hips.
At a sudden loss for words he glared at her and yelled right back, “Yeah, well I’m going out with - -“

"Ah!" Sheri let out passionate sigh as she gazed at the beautiful waters of Santa Monica bay. She held a white sun hat on her head as the wind billowed through her long hair. She wore a short white, racer-back tank top that had a thick blue stripe hanging on the hem. She also wore black spandex that cut off mid-thigh and floral sandals.
"It's so beautiful," Sheri cried out of pure enjoyment, she turned with a beautiful smile, "Can you believe I've never been here?"
There was a smile and then a chuckle and loud laughter burst out, "Yes I can believe it!!"
Riley was gripping his sides as he laughed. It’d been at least three weeks since the blow out with Tanny, and now he was on a date with one of her worst enemies.
"Th-That's not fair, Riley! That's just plain teasing!!" Sheri cried out, blushing from embarrassment, and Riley stopped and simply smiled at her.
"It was cute," he chuckled and turned around and pointed to the shops nearby, "How about I get you a gift to make up for it?"
Sheri shook her hands in front of her in protest, "Oh, no! I couldn't possibly!"
"Then how about something small?" Riley walked across the pier to a small prize dispenser that was labeled ‘Rings, 50 cents’.
He bent down and inserted two quarters, then put his hand on the large metal knob. He turned his face to Sheri and smiled, “What color would you like?"
Sheri placed her hand on her hip, "Why? It's not like you can change the outcome.”
Riley smirked, "If we both wish for it don't you think we have a higher chance?"
"Blue! I want blue!" She said with no hesitation, like a child.
"Okay! Show me blue!"
Riley turned the knob and the plastic container rolled out. Sheri covered her eyes, afraid to be disappointed at the color.
"Oh! I can't look...what...color is it?" She asked covering her eyes with her hands. Hearing the "pop" of the container being opened and she peeked through her fingers.
"It's blue!" Riley smiled, Sheri gasped with excitement moving both her hands to her mouth.
Riley gently took hold of Sheri's left hand and slid the plastic ring onto her pointer finger. They smiled at each other for a couple of moments, "Thank you, Riley."
Sheri moved to the dispenser and dropped down to eye level with it. Almost as if she was challenging it.
"Oh! You don't have to get me anything!" Riley said blushing slightly at the thought. Then again he could read her mind, but Tanny hated it when he did that so he wasn’t.
"I'm not. I was just thinking about how Tanny doesn’t have one. And since I do now I was wondering what one she might get." Sheri smiled up at Riley and looked back at the dispenser looking at the varieties. Riley's head dropped, his hands clenched into fists. She had been close to Tanny for a while, closer than he had. She knew the girl on almost the same level as him.
'That's right. I wouldn't even be on this date if--' his thought was interrupted when Sheri groaned and stood up.
"They don't have her favorite color." Sheri pouted and Riley stared at her, with an upset look, “Stupid Ring Company doesn’t make one in lavender!”
'--if Tanny and I didn't have that fight. I wouldn't be here with Sheri.'
Sheri looked at Riley with a confused look for a second then cocked her head to the side looking at him. He was glaring at the boardwalk. There wasn’t anything that hurt him more than the look on Tanny’s face when he said he was dating Sheri. The fact that she had gone from that look of hurt to completely indifferent hurt him.
‘You can date whoever you want,’ she’d said, ‘I don’t care what you do anymore.’
"Riley...? You okay?" Riley nodded once and grabbed Sheri's right hand and started walking down the pier to the Ferris wheel. He said nothing as they walked and Sheri couldn't help but worry.
"Riley..."
Suddenly Riley perked up and gave Sheri a smile.
"Let's go on the Ferris wheel!" he said, trying not to ruin her good time.
Sheri looked hesitant for a second and then gave a gentle smile and nodded, "Yeah!"
