Fellow gave a gentle nod in response to Maka. "Yes, one moment please." He said walking over to the counter and sitting down the briefcase for a moment. "Bob," He said hopefully getting his attention. "I need the keys for Miss Maka, Miss Blue Star, Miss Tanny, and Mr.Takanami rooms please." He said knowing he would need to guide them to their rooms and it would be easier if he just got all of their keys now and gave it to them. That way he could knock this out in one go. He glanced slightly over towards Nathan as he spoke with Miss Tanny wondering if she was already then glanced back to Bob hoping to get the keys as soon as possible so he could immediately go talk to the chef about prepping for the events of this afternoon.

Having finished setting up the trays and things with few problems (aside from one or two broken dishes on Grell's part), Nathan had managed to untangle himself from helping the needy butler, making his way briskly back inside the lobby. It seemed that it was quickly filling up with guests, so much that the doctor nearly ran into a few people. Muttering apologies, he passed by them without paying much attention to any of them, until he'd nearly tripped one of the women near the front. She was walking a bit shakily, it seemed, and he briefly wondered if he'd merely thrown her off balance, or if it was something a bit more serious than that. "Excuse me, Miss," Nathan cleared his throat, pausing as he stepped out of Tanny's way. Getting a better look at her, he could tell that something definitely seemed long, like she'd just done something that required strong physical exertion. Well, that was what he was for, wasn't it? "Are you alright? You look a bit..dizzy." Tammy shook her head and looked around for the voice. When she saw Nathan she cleared her throat and crossed her arms. She didn't want people looking at her like that. The concern made her want to gag on the spot. "I'm fine. I'd just like to get my room key and go," she said casting her gaze elsewhere. She just needed to get out of here and find out who that one guy was that seemed to take her charge. If he was like her maybe she could figure out what she was exactly.

The look of surprise in Taylor's eyes was priceless. When asked how he'd known that Bob was a unicorn as well, Puck merely smiled mysteriously without saying a word. As far as she needed to know, it was merely a lucky guess. The last thing he needed were people finding out just who(or what) he was; the more that knew, the sooner Oberon would find out just where he'd sneaked off to.
"They call me Puck," the fae replied, shifting the weight of his bag to the opposite hand as they reached the top of the stairs. "It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Taylor. Now, if you don't mind my asking, are you a guest, or an employ like your...erm, unique friend downstairs?" Perhaps his questions seemed a bit forward, but, as usual, Puck didn't care. So long as a topic kept a conversation going, he didn't really mind how personal things got...well, so long as he was the one asking the questions.
---
Nathan raised an eyebrow slightly at the woman. The stubborn fold of her arms reminded him of something...or rather, someone. It was much like how Shilo acted whenever he said something that put her off or wouldn't let her have her way. The memory stung, and Nathan's eyes immediately shifted in sync with the burn. No since in letting his mind dwell on things that only weighed him down.
"Alright then," he nodded gruffly, acting as though he weren't too concerned with whatever her trouble was(which he honestly wasn't, though it was his job to be). "....But, just so you know, ma'am, I am the hotel doctor, in case you should need anything." Hopefully, she wouldn't. She seemed to have a bit of a "back-off" sort of attitude, but then again, he'd probably react the same way if a stranger came up and asked how you were feeling.

“Well…uh…it’s really nice to meet you too, Puck.” Taylor said, with a sheepish grin. She couldn’t decide whether to pursue this guy, or to drop him immediately, for the sake of her friend’s safety. To his question though, she felt it safe to answer, without any drawbacks. “I’m a guest, but I just got hired as a waitress at the new Italian restaurant downtown, so it looks like I might be staying a little longer than I thought.” Taylor said. In reality, she had to stay here, being that she really didn’t have anywhere else to go. If she even tried to step foot back in Chicago again, she’d find herself down on the concrete in a matter of minutes, with handcuffs binding her wrists.
No one wanted that.
Taylor looked down the hallway towards her room for a second, and then to Puck. She was still mentally assessing him, but for the most part, he didn’t seem like a huge threat. Maybe he was alright…but the dagger was staying by her side no matter what.
“Do you need any help unpacking or anything?” Taylor asked.

Either she was staring at him for obvious reasons, or he was making her uncomfortable. Whichever the case, Puck got some amusement out of it. Mortals were so easy to fluster; they really made it too simple for him, like taking candy from a baby.
“Well…I don’t believe so. At least, not yet. I was thinking of taking a little nap once I got to my room, and save the packing for later,” he chuckled, mocking a yawn. In all seriousness, however, he was fairly tired. Transportation had never been an especially exhausting spell for him, but he supposed that combined with the constant use of this human guise was taking a toll on his weakened powers. Perhaps he’d better take it slow over the next few days, until he got back into the swing of things.
“Know of any good places to relax around here? I believe I remember the letter going into rather fine detail about ‘peace and quiet’ and whatnot,” he asked, quirking an eyebrow.

Blue Star sighed and looked at the counter. She just wanted to get her keys and drop her stuff off. Then she could get a better look around the place and see what was making her so edgy. Shaking her head she walked up to the unicorn behind the desk.
"Excuse me? My key?" she asked.
---
Tanny grit her teeth and stared straight ahead. She was getting irritated and that wasn't good.
"Hate doctors, not going EVER," she said leaning against the wall. She needed to find away to calm down before she really did explode all over the place and fry everyone in there.

"Alright then." Taylor said, as she spun around on one foot, preparing to head on back to her own room. But she paused mid-step as Puck asked about places to relax. Turning back around, and flipping her brunette hair over her shoulder, she jerked her thumb towards the stairs. "I know that there's a spa downstairs...I was just about to head on down there myself." Taylor said, offering up a small grin.
"Of course, if you'd like to tag along..." Taylor added in, as her grin slowly twisted into more of a flirtatious smirk. She'd have this guy wrapped around her finger in no time if things kept going according to plan.
-----
Bob nodded to Blue Star, and grabbed her key, handing it to her outstretched hand. "Room 427, y'all." Bob said, pointing towards the stairs. At Hotel Cavalier, the room numbers weren't in order. It was simply a randomly assigned number to each door, which made it fun...in a strange sort of way. Sitting back down in his chair, Bob tapped his foot on the floor, wondering when he'd be off work, and when he could get back to running around like a mad unicorn in the courtyard.

Blue Star took the key and nodded heading for the stairs in a brisk manner. She was thankful for the escape, not so many people would be in her room. That was a good thing, she needed the seclusion. Making her way up she noticed the rooms were not in order. 'Great,' she thought to herself, 'How am I suppose to find this damn place?' She wandered down the hall aimlessly. ---
The Doctor wandered into the area with a interested look. This place certainly was different, yet he couldn't quite place why the Tardis brought him here. Walking up to the unicorn behind the counter he stared at Bob for a good twenty seconds before pulling out his screwdriver and aiming it at the creature. It whirled and made a high pitched noise for a bit before he shut it off and checked the readings.
"Interesting," he said, "How peculiar. You're quite a sight aren't you. Never thought I'd see a unicorn. How truly mad! Oh what's this?"
As quick as his attention went to Bob it transferred to Tanny. He repeated his deal with the sonic screwdriver and smiled.
"Well well what do we have here? I never thought in a million years I'd see another one of you again. Where have you been hiding all this time? Wait stupid question, your here, and you're staring at me like I'm a freak. Anyways girl, where's your leader? Your deity? She usually doesn't let her people wander around without a token of her somewhere on their person...mind lifting up your shirt? Or maybe its on your legs or neck. I wonder."
He moved forward to inspect her closely. ---
Tanny looked over at Puck and Taylor before shaking her head, she wished it was that easy. Though Taylor seemed like a hoot. Next thing she knew there was a man in her face, asking questions, and pointing out the painful fact that she wasn't a normal person like Taylor was. When he asked her to lift her shirt, she felt the electricity jolt to life on her skin. When he moved closer she aimed her hand at him, the electric current dancing on her hand.
"Stay back," she growled.
"OH! You're the leader! Then where are the others? You lot don't usually leave without at least three of your own kind to accompany you. What's your name girl? I really would like to know. Then again for someone as young as you to be leader that must mean that you were never told about your planet or heritage."
"What?" she asked her face screwing up in confusion.
He glanced back at her and put a hand near his mouth, "Spoilers."

Puck felt another coy grin forming on his face. This girl knew how to play her cards...and she was cute, at that. He wasn't so easily swayed by her flirtations, but he was interested in how very hard she seemed to be trying. From the little flip of her hair to the way her mouth curved in her smile, he could see right through her intentions to have him stumbling after her down the hall. For any other man, or at least, for a mortal, her efforts might have had them doing just that. But Puck knew better, and intended to switch the cards on the girl before she'd even realize what he was doing.
"Perhaps I'll meet you there in a moment, once I drop my things off," Puck replied nonchalantly, picking up his things and beginning to make his way down the hall. He briefly noticed someone staring at him from the corner of his eye, and frowned slightly, slowing a bit as he eye rested on the Doctor. Curious. He could swear that there was something familiar about the man...he just wasn't sure what. But if there was yet another supernatural being here, he might as well reveal himself then and there.
--
Grell made his way down a hallway, pushing the empty cart from earlier. Inwardly, he was a bit annoyed that Nathan had hurried off so quickly after helping him outside; that man was simply so intriguing. And intriguing, attractive men were Grell Sutcliff's specialty. But flirting simply wasn't an option in this dreary form, he reminded himself with a grumble.
Continuing down the hallway, he paused as he noticed a confused-looking guest, and raised an eyebrow, glancing the woman over for a moment. Not bad looking, he suppose, but not something he'd be jealous over. After all, she wasn't even wearing red. "Erm, excuse me, Miss?" He asked Blue Star, his voice quiet and nervous sounding, as it always was when he played the butler role. "Do you require some assistance, by chance?"

Blue Star nearly jumped three feet in the air at Grell's sudden question, she spun around to face him. Putting the blade she'd nearly pulled out of her sleeve back into its spot and bent forward slightly, resting her hand on her chest. "Holy crap," she muttered taking a breath. How had she missed him walking up. How had he gotten behind her? Blue Star straightened up and looked at Grell. He was obviously one of the workers here.
"Yes, I guess I do. Can you show me my room please? Number 427."

Taylor was a bit surprised by Puck's reaction. He didn't fall for her usual tricks, which had her almost stumbling down the stairs. It usually worked. The girl merely shrugged, not wishing to let him know that what he said had affected her a bit. On her way downstairs, she passed by Sophia, who acknowledged her with a nod.
The girl continued on downstairs, taking an immediate left towards the back of the hotel, where she knew the spa was located. Stepping inside the awfully bright room, Taylor had to stop for a moment to readjust her eyes. "Well, it's about time I have someone come in!" a voice said, coming from somewhere in the back.
"It's just me, Clopin. The usual." Taylor said, as she came face to face with the gypsy masseuse. His face fell a bit when he saw her, as he was already acquainted with her...not a new face, as he'd been hoping. "Well, go get ready then, and I'll be with you soon." Clopin said, handing her a white towel. Taylor took it, and headed back towards the bathroom, so that she could get herself all ready and situated.
----- Sophia, after passing up Taylor, had turned only to see the Doctor become a little too curious about Tanny's abilities. Rolling her eyes, the purple-maned unicorn trotted up to the girl. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but do you need help finding your room, Miss?" Sophia asked, turning a wary eye to the Doctor. He was too enthusiastic for her taste...almost like Bob.

Tanny looked at Sophia and shoved her hands into the pockets of her jeans. She contemplated the situation and nodded to the unicorn. Better to go with someone who knew where her room was then to be stalked by some crazy man asking way to many questions.
"Yeah...my room would be great," she muttered.
---
"Another! Well well this just gets more an more interesting. I say, you, purple one. How old are you? Where did your kind come from? Now now don't look at me like that. I'm the Doctor it's my job to be curious and find out about you. So are you going to answer? Wait...room? So this is like some sort of hotel? Interesting. Well that explains the invitation and why the Tardis brought me here, well not really on the later part, but I'm sure that will come with time." He rambled on as Sophia talked to Tanny.

Sophia nodded, as she began leading Tanny towards her room. But the Doctor trailed behind them, asking numerous questions about the unicorn filly. Bristling, Sophia turned to face the Doctor, answering his questions all in one go. "I'm approximately 2,367 years old, and my kind is from a Biblical land that I wish not to discuss, in order to preserve my own species." Sophia said, narrowing her eyes at the Doctor.
"And for your information, yes, this is a hotel. If you haven't received your room yet, I suggest you speak to the receptionist for your key and room." Sophia growled. He had majorly gotten on her nerves. Now, Sophia actually did like questions and questioning, but in the philosophical sort of way, like that one time when she and Aristotle had been questioning the meaning of life.
But that was a long time ago.

"Someone's touchy," he laughed looking around as he followed them around. He didn't really want to get to his room yet. He just wanted to have some fun and figure things out. Just waiting around the hotel didn't appeal at all. He needed to be moving, going places, seeing the world. If the Tardis locked him here he'd go mentally insane in a couple of hours.
"So little purple one," he said with a grin, "You're from a biblical land? Which ones that? Why does it matter if you tell some one? I could tell you so many stories about the worlds and the creatures on them. My least favorite are the weeping angels and the daleks."

"It matters if I tell because our race will then be in even more danger from you humans." Sophia spat. "We unicorns are spread out all over the Earth. But we've managed to stay hidden for thousands of years until now, when my brother let himself be discovered, and I had to come to protect him." Sophia said. She knew that she could never give away the Garden of Eden. Her species was rare indeed, with the unicorns of Eden deemed even rarer.
And if Sophia knew humans well enough, all they were ever good for was for starting pointless wars and killing defenseless creatures.
